Located in Jacksonville, Ark., Bayou Meto Elementary School is a public school that is a part of the Pulaski County Special School District, which operates more than 35 educational institutions with a combined population of over 18,500 students. The school organizes a variety of extracurricular activities, such as field trips, book and science fairs, picture days, fall festivals, dance competitions, music concerts and talent shows. It employs a work force of full-time, certified teachers, paraprofessionals, computer laboratory assistants, special education instructors, instructional aides, classroom teachers and custodians.
