The City Hall is operated by the government of the City of Jackson in Tennessee. It houses the offices of various city departments, such as personnel, planning, public services, purchasing and risk management. The hall maintains mayor s and council s offices. It also houses engineering department s office that provides services for road and bridge construction and maintenance, traffic signs and signalizations, driveway and street cut permits, residential and commercial development reviews, and street and alley closings. The City Hall maintains the office of the Information Systems Department, which operates a fiber- and wireless-based network that supports staff in more than 20 facilities.
