Founded in 1973, Jackson Heart Clinic serves a wide variety of health-related needs of the residents of Jackson, Miss. The center performs various medical procedures, such as implantable defibrillator, diagnostic heart catheterization, coronary balloon angioplasty, pacemaker follow-up, radiofrequency catheter ablation, stent placement and pacemaker implantation. Its services include insurance, financial arrangements and hospitalization, control of risk factors, cholesterol management, and blood pressure and heart disease check. The center also performs various tests, including myocardial perfusion scan, electrophysiology study, electrocardiogram, echocardiography, Holter monitoring, carotid ultrasound and thallium scans.
