- Corporate LawOver 46 years as a civil trial attorney with experience in commercial and corporate litigation, international business transactions and litigation, mass toxic tort litigation, re estate, financial, oil and gas, securities, insurance, intellectual property, entertainment and sports together with all forms of alternative dispute resolution; assisted the Federal Bureau of Investigation in a hostage negotiation incident to a successful conclusion; appointed Special Master in six circuit court districts in Mississippi involving mass tort silica litigation, conducted hearings on dispositive and non-dispositive motions, issued over 800 reports and recommendations between 2003 and 2010 to the appointing circuit judges; served as lead trial counsel for the Complainant in a case involving several multi-national parties litigated in the Permanent Court of Arbitration at The Hague, Netherlands.

- Intellectual Property(1) Working with Creatives is one of the best parts of the job. I love the energy they bring to everything they do. (2) A cliché reference about “bright future” is certainly valid for the kind of law I practice, but also having the right tools and accessories in life is always important. (3) I don’t have to wear a tie often in my practice, but sometimes a lawyer has to have one. Yes, there is a funny story here...feel free to ask. (4) I get to work with people and businesses that are so much fun, it sometimes feels more like recess than work. (5) I enjoy helping creatives bring their creations into reality and then working with them to exploit that Intellectual Property in the various formats and platforms that best fit their market. The focus of his practice is intellectual property law, entertainment law, sports law, and social media law, but he also incorporates general business law into his practice as well.
