She excelled in the program and obtained her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine four years later.Dr. Carter-Robin subsequently completed a residency in podiatric primary care as well as a residency in podiatric surgery, both while serving at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and Affiliated Hospitals in New York City. Shes board-certified in podiatric medicine, podiatric surgery, and the prevention and treatment of diabetic foot wounds.Since entering private practice, Dr. Carter-Robin has served in various positions, including Chief of Podiatry at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York.
