Henderson Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. Its educational programs include instruction in science, English, history, business and mathematics. The school also offers music, computer science, and health and physical education classes. Henderson Middle School provides special education and speech therapy programs. Its athletic activities include football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, soccer and wrestling. The school operates a student council, environmental club, and academic and news teams, as well as offers guidance counseling services for the personal, social, career and academic development of students. Henderson Middle School features a media center that provides reading and research materials. It is governed by Butts County Schools.
