The Greater Ithaca Activities Center, also known as GIAC, serves youths, adults and adolescents. The center administers various educational and recreational programs. It offers employment training opportunities. The Greater Ithaca Activities Center organizes luncheons, festivals, museum visits, boat trips and holiday parties. The center conducts summer day camps and provides after-school and art programs. It also provides several sports activities, such as basketball and volleyball. The Greater Ithaca Activities Center offers a teen program that serves individuals between the ages of 14 and 18. In addition, it administers the English as a Second Language program. The center is a part of the government of the city of Ithaca in New York.
