Mercy Haven was established in 1985 and is a nonprofit organization providing a wide range of residential services to individuals with mental illnesses. The center provides assistance to families with low incomes and also offers housing and legal advocacy services to se nior citizens. It also provides a variety of programs in education and employment skills training. Mercy Haven offers treatment to individuals with traumatic brain injuries. It provides 24-hour supervised care and independent living services to adults. The center offers a wide range of personal care services that include meals, housekeeping, laundry services and transportation. It additionally provides various recreational activities, scheduled trips and medication management programs. Mercy Haven is located in Islip Terrace, N.Y.
