At Tuxedo Paws, we provide grooming with a gentle touch. All our professionals are certified graduates of grooming school. We use all-natural products and strive for the best quality offering custom packages for the individual needs of your pet. Amy Carter and Sharon Longman began the business after meeting while attending Petite Pooch Grooming School in 2006. They soon realized that they had a lot in common and became quick friends. Utilizing their previous business experience as manager of a dental laboratory and 23 years in management at Verizon respectively, they opened their first grooming salon in Valley Ranch called Paw Spa. This salon was located within the offices of Valley Ranch Pet Clinic with Dr. Greg Rouchon. After two years it was time to move to a larger location where they are today at 10045 North MacArthur, Suite 121, Irving, TX. This location has allowed much more visibility being across the street from the Dallas Cowboys Practice Facility. They have been in this location for five years. In 2012 Amy Carter became Amy Graf and after a year of commuting she made the decision to leave the grooming business and move to the beautiful countryside of Ivanhoe, TX with her husband. Sharon Longman is now the sole owner of the business. This salon is known today as Tuxedo Paws and encompasses all the same great staff and services. This is truly a place for the ultimate dog lover. Horrible job. They shaved my dog so close to the skin that he was bleeding and in pain for a week. Did not apologize

I was new to the area and my yorkie was in need of major grooming. I found Tuxedo paws on google. I called and spoke to them and they were so friendly. I took him in the next day and they were so warm and inviting! They treated my dog like it was their own which is exactly what i look for. I am very very picky with my baby! In the past he hated going to the groomers and would snap and not want me to leave him. When i drop him off here he is so happy and when i pick him up i do not get the silent treatment like i use to! Yorkies are very hard to groom and i love the teddy bear look and they get it perfect everytime! I highly suggest Tuxedo paws. I am getting a new little girl yorkie and i cant wait to introduce her to them!!!

If you want your dog to be naked...here is the place to go! Anybody can grab a pair of clippers and shave a dog, but obviously not all groomers can actually GROOM a dog. I was very, very disappointed with the end result. My cocker spaniel now has NO hair....but he does have stray long hairs and clipper marks all over his body. For $60 I expected at least a little effort put into my dog's hair. Not the case at Paw Spa!! I guess you have to have a dog that has just been groomed to take to this place otherwise if they have to demat or actually groom your dog....kiss their hair goodbye.
