Dr. Neil Dilip Shah is a Board-Certified, Fellowship-Trained Spine Surgeon. Dr. Shah has been serving Dallas Fort Worth since 2012 and brings a conservative approach to low back and neck pain while also offering the most current minimally invasive surgical techniques. Throughout his career, Dr. Shah has performed over 3,000 surgeries ranging from smallest, most minimally invasive outpatient procedure to an extensive spinal correction surgery. He is dedicated to improving the quality of life for his patients through a multi-disciplinary approach customized to the specific needs of each individual. Born and raised in Dallas, TX, Dr. Neil Shah followed his mother’s footsteps in the desire to care for people. Dr. Shah was accepted out of high school to the Medical Science Scholar program at Texas A&M University College of Medicine. This allowed him to finish his undergraduate and medical school studies in a remarkable 6 years. He attended residency at the Fort Worth Affiliated Hospitals Orthopaedic Residency Program. During his rotations in residency, Dr. Shah found his passion for restoration of the human spine. Dr. Shah was then accepted to the prestigious Stanford University Orthopaedic Spine Surgery Fellowship. Throughout his career, Dr. Shah has presented numerous research presentations on the multiple treatments available to limit surgery and maximize successful outcomes. Dr. Shah is dedicated to providing patients with the best spinal care. His goal is to educate his patients so they feel informed and empowered throughout their treatment process. He will serve as their strongest advocate and guide them to make the best decisions so that they can maximize their outcomes and restore their quality of life.
