  Ms. Heckman was admitted to the Bar in 1986, the same year she began her 32 year career at The Orange County Counsel, focusing nearly exclusively on LPS and Probate conservatorships, guardianships, decedent’s estates and trusts, and related civil litigation, advisory and appellate matters. Integral to this practice was responding to the Orange County Superior Court’s orders to show cause, when neglect or malfeasance may have or did occur in private estates, trusts, guardianships and conservatorships, triggering investigation by the County, and reporting directly to the Court. Often these cases would result in appointment of the appropriate County agency as successor fiduciary, requiring resolution of complex cases through litigation.

  Mr. Sterling Scott Winchell’s focus is in litigation with emphasis in area of employment law (defense and plaintiff’s bar), landlord/tenant law, and business disputes. He also handles general civil and criminal practice with additional emphasis in business litigation, landlord/tenant, insurance litigation, premises liability, probate administration, real property law, and misdemeanor criminal defense matters. Also Mr. Winchell handles incorporations and estate planning and maintains a case load at all times of approximately 30-40 matters.

  Vittoria Rainone is a parttime paralegal at the Law Offices of Dominic E. Rainone, PLC with two years of experience. Vittoria is a 2L in the J.D. program at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law with an expected graduation date of 2024. Vittoria has experience working on estate planning, administration, and litigation matters and aids the firm in a variety of legal situations and cases. Prior to working as a paralegal, Vittoria worked as a file clerk for the firm through her later years in high school and college.
