They are used car salesmen, customer service doesn't exist here. Find somewhere to live in a community were the people working there can help you with issues with your appartment. The we can do it attitude does not happen here more like pass the buck.

do not live there! because of some problems, i couldn't pay my rent on the first month, then i paid two-month rent at the end of the second month. How ugly they are, i received a letter from a court that i need to present at a court because i didn't pay my rent on time. Also, i need to pay $1200 penalty fee!!!!! nobody told me that i needed to pay that huge fee if i didn't pay my rent in two months!!!! so whatever amount they said is right!!! and force you to pay!!!!!

Avalon Apartments are very small and not advertised correctly on their website. They list blueprints with one price then tell you another, much higher price once they get you to travel to the site. Their main phone line has no idea of how much their own apartments cost and keep you on hold for a very long time while they find out. The LACK of communication and their false advertising is disgraceful.

I live in the Avalon Tinton Falls, NJ and it is terrible! Cheap Cheap Cheap! The fire alarm is faulty and can go at anytime. They give a 13 month leas ad don't tell you, actually for some reason mine is 14 months. Our toilet and shower aver flow all the time with debris and soapy water. Walls are paper thin. Brand new apartment an there is already a big crack in the ceiling. The amenities are a joke. DON'T RENT HERE!

leaky pipes, holes in the wall, bugs, odors, drafty, broken windows, rats, no heat, clogged toilet, but on the plus side the ants carry off some of the garbage, the broken windows let in some fresh air, and the rats are not very big - kind of skinny, and the pipes only leak when the water is turned on to the apartment - often it isn't
