Shanon Montgomery, APNP, is a board certified nurse practitioner specializing in primary care for those ages 13 years and older. Shanon's practice philosophy is based on individualized care focused on each patient's condition, as well as, the effects of illness on the lives of the patient and his/her family. Shanon believes in focusing on preventive care and engaging the individual as the primary leader in his/her own care and well-being. Specialty Areas: Family Medicine Metabolic diseases Gerontology Sports medicine Infants and children Education: Bay College, Lake Superior State University Marian University of Wisconsin, MSN-NP Shanon spent 19 years as a registered nurse prior to advancing his career and education into the nurse practitioner role. He has lived in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for most of his life. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, horseback riding, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
