- Fillings
- Resin CompositeTooth-colored resin composite fillings can repair a decayed tooth or broken filling without making teeth look dark and gray. The newest filling materials have increased their ability to adapt to the shape of your tooth, resist staining and chipping, blend in with the shade of your tooth, and polish to a high shine.
- VeneersVeneers are thin facings of porcelain bonded to the front of teeth to improve the appearance badly stained or oddly shaped teeth that are in otherwise healthy condition. They require minimal tooth reduction, and in some cases the teeth do not need to be reduced at all.
- CrownsIn order to remove the source of infection (the dying nerve), an opening is made into the nerve chamber. The nerve is then cleaned out, and the now hollowed-out canal is sealed. The final restoration (usually a crown) is placed over the access opening and the tooth, ligaments, and bone can now heal from the inflammation and infection and return to a normal, comfortable, functional state. Meticulous cleaning of the nerve chamber and canal is important, so two visits may be necessary on teeth with multiple roots and complex anatomy.
- BridgesThere are several types of fixed bridges, such as conventional bridges, cantilever bridges, and resin bonded bridges. They are usually made from ceramic, or a combination of gold alloy and porcelain.
- Dental BondingWhitening agents actually change the color of your teeth, but only are effective on certain types of stains. For example, bleaching agents have a difficult time removing brownish or grayish stains. These products also are not as effective on pitted or badly discolored teeth, or on restorations such as crowns, bridges, bonding and tooth-colored fillings (porcelain veneers or dental bonding may be more appropriate in this case).
- Restorative Dentistry
- Root Canal TreatmentRoot canals have a rather nasty reputation from years’ past. Thankfully, advances in both the type and delivery of anesthetic, as well as the ability to decrease the infection with antibiotics prior to treatment allow our team to treat you comfortably throughout the entire procedure. Anti-inflammatory medications do an excellent job of dealing with any post operative discomfort, if you have any. Many patients don’t.
- DenturesDentures and partials are made to look just like natural teeth. Partials will have small metal clasps or tooth colored resin clasps in discreet areas that will anchor them to the existing teeth. A denture can be made before removing all of the teeth, allowing our patients to receive treatment without having to go without teeth. We will always be there to follow up with you to adjust your denture, check your gum tissue, and reline the partial or denture for you as your bone changes.

- Gum SurgeryIf the disease has progressed beyond gingivitis, a series of deeper, more thorough cleanings may be all it takes to see the tissue improve and the support structure stabilize. Laser therapy can also be used to comfortably treat periodontal disease. These methods can very often return the tissue to health without having to resort to gum surgery.
- Tooth Extractions
- OrthodonticsConnective tissue attachments that create a space between front teeth can be easily and comfortably removed, often allowing the space to close without orthodontics. An excessively gummy smile that shows short, square looking teeth can be beautifully transformed to show longer, fuller teeth by simply removing the excess gum tissue. Excess tissue that has grown up and over back teeth and causes pain when biting can be eliminated. When decay extends below the gum-line, blood and saliva can contaminate the bond between the tooth and the restoration. A laser can create a clean dry field that will ensure a better bond and extend the life of the restoration. Lasers can also be used to treat gum disease without the need for surgery.
