How could a doctor dump a newly adopted dog, leaving him tied to pole, three days after taking him from a shelter?

This doctor thinks it's okay to abuse animals. How could anyone trust him with your own health?

Would you really want to go to a doctor that abuses and abandons animals? I wouldn't.

Disgusting, Poor excuse for human being, needs to be prosecuted for animal cruelty! Would you do this to a child or human??...animals are more loyal than humans!!! What is wrong with you?...I got it you've been so caught up living the high life you've forgotten how to be human...show compassion, have a heart! You need to lose your medical license over this and I hope the pet adoption agency continues their investigation and people keep talking so the medical board finds out. Your story is Bull...which most drs afters years of practicing are excellent at providing with their high price attorneys.

Shoot the dog or tie to a pole, those are your first options?

This man lacks compassion and is morally bankrupt.

What trash this man is! Look at his Facebook picture. He got a dog from an adoption/rescue center in Columbia, took it on vacation to Florida, and left it tied up by the side of the road and abandoned it!! WHAT A LOW LIFE! This story aired on WIS as well, this is TRUE, not made up. He did offer to bring the dog back to Columbia, BUT ONLY AFTER HE GOT CAUGHT AND BUSTED for having left it. I would not let this man treat anyone I know. What if his kids start acting out one day? They gonna just leave them in a buggy in Publix or Target or something? GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY, there is a special level of hell for you William Odom!!!

If you are the same Dr. William Odom and wife Jessica who adopted a dog on Christmas Eve and then left it tied to a pole in Florida 4 days later, I feel that you are one sorry human. I hope all of your patients learn of your actions and hope it devastates your practice. I further hope that Florida law enforcement will follow through with criminal charges for animal cruelty. I will be one of hundreds calling and writing, asking them to do so. How can you live with yourself?

Are you the guy that adopted a dog, took him to Florida and tied him to a pole and abandoned him? Nice.

Dr Odom you are such a blessing to me. I have been going through for so long. (2003) I have been past around to so many doctors and therapies until when my Dr A sent me your way I said here goes another doctor. But the first visit with you I regained hope. I think God for sending me your way. Yes my first visit you helped me and currently helping me. Thank you so very much. Mr Cash.

My first vist was very helpful knowing that at last some one knew that the pain i was having was real,He had the best bedside manners of all the doctors that i had seen since march of 2012. Thanks to him and his staff, God does have angles out ther to help us it just takes time to findd them.
I have just started therapy today but I saw Dr Odom last Wednesday and I must say I was so happy. For the first time in years I have hope. My husband was with me on my visit and he still talks about Dr Odom. It was nice to find a doctor that understands what I've been dealing with for several years and him mentioning things I have told doctors all my life and they just disregarded.me and made me feel stupid...but Dr Odom looks at the overall health and gets to the root cause. Nice to know I'm not "crazy" afterall. I can't imagine the two people that gave him 1 or 2 stars were seeing the same doctor I saw. I admire a "take charge" attitude when it comes to my health. I'm a conservative in every other way, but I was so tired of doctors taking my money and not helping or listening to me. I have been bed-ridden for so long, but now I have hope. I was a very active person and my conditions/diseases stripped me of m ylife...but that God Dr Odom was the doc I've been looking for! Wonderful!

I just started going to Dr. Odom last week. I was very impressed with his knowledge and how nice the staff are in his office. I have been suffering from chronic nerve pain since 2002. This is the first time in eight years that I have been able to wake up out of my bed and start my day pain free. All I can say is that in my opinion he is a Godsend.
iDr. Odom and his staff are wonderful. I was suffering to the point that I could not even go to the grocery store or cook dinner for my family. After several weeks of treatment with Dr. Odom I was able to go to the grocery store, cook dinner for my family and even walk the mall again. I recently went on a cruise and walked the islands. I have my life back. It's not 100% but its very manageable. Thank you Dr. Odom.

I like a Doctor that knows his "stuff" and Dr Odom does. I found he very friendly and concerned about me and the problem I have endured. I will recommend him to everyone that is suffering needlessly.

To be a so called a "fibro" specialist he showed very little empathy. He presents himself as a very arogant know it all. Just because a Dr. can't help someone and doesn't know it all is no reason to belittle a patient who has put all of her confidence in him. Terrible "bedside" manner.
