We went Fri May 5 group Ocala Boat Club. The office people were nice & wanted to accommodate any help they could..$35 adult ; $20 child..ear muffs for sound proof were clean..the captain was nice. The office & captain checked radar about weather before we left dock. We saw a small gator sunning in the mud by the dock..Since the Airboat is noisy....keep camera ready & zoom in...because the gators we saw slithered in the water as we approached. The Captain guides the boat slow for about nine miles on the Withlacoochee which flows North to South. Lots of photo opportunity!
We pulled up & stopped in very shallow water & saw a nest of about 20 baby alligators...Mom was no where to be see.
On the way back Captain guides boat "fast! "So exciting ! I just put my phone on video & then had to stop filming because the wind velocity was too much to hold my phone! Now we want to go to the Everglades!

took our visiting daughter and grand kids. Awsome ride! Went end of Feb. Saw tons of gators and other wildlife. Captain took us slow out to see everything. Then on the way back--- we got the speed and turns (even got wet). We all loved it and would go again!

Took Wild Bill's airboat tour today! Awesome!!! Saw gators, lots of birds, ospray nests and a spring. Bring your camera. Boat ride was fun and the Captain was informative!! You have to try it!!! We will be back!! Great for kids!! You can even hold a baby gator!! Lori

BEST AIRBOAT RIDE EVER. We had a great time, and recommend Wild Bill's to everyone. It was amazing!!!! The earphones were clean and new. The captain was informative and fun. I learned a lot about Florida history and I can't wait to go back.

Best airboat ride ever for kids or adults. Scenic Withlacoochee river is beautiful. $30.00 for adult/ $20.00 fo kids, good deal for 45 minutes of fun. You can even hold a baby alligator!!

fballchicka is right on the money. Not even a fun ride. No wildlife, just mucky boots and dirty earmuffs. Don't waste your time or money.

My husband and I have been on many airboat tours and decided to take our 8 yr old to experience the adventure of it. Wild Bills was closest to us and the website promoted an adventurous wildlife experience where you would get to see gators and live boars and other exciting wildlife which we have seen up and close and personal on all of the tours we have previously taken. The tour cost 24 dollars a person for adults and half price for children..... The 45 min tour was basically a boat ride! There was one gator that popped its head out about 40 feet away and that was the most exciting part of the trip! We were so dissappointed in spending the 60 dollars for just the airboat ride. So i write an email to them expressing our dissappointment ...and the second email i got a response saying "All our company guarentees is an airboat ride..through natures unspoiled wilderness" If we wanted to see wildlife we would have to go to a controlled wildlife environment! And that they do not give refunds of any kind... So i thought if i write this review it would help others in making the decision to go on this tour or not. Hope it helped. The Everglades are awesome for airboat tours and also Crystal River is highly recommended!
