Dr. Dela Cruz has been practicing in Citrus County, FL since 2000 with Citrus Hematology & Oncology Center and became its President/Director in 2006 until its merger with FCS. He provides physician leadership at both Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL and Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center in Crystal River, FL. Early in his career, Dr. Dela Cruz became interested in research and has been published in notable journals (ex. Blood); he has also delivered medical presentations before such distinguished meetings at the New York Society for the Study of Blood at Rockefeller University and Medical Oncology Breast Cancer Fellows at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Dela Cruz is married with children and, in his leisure time, enjoys gardening, biking, hiking and traveling.
