LaCo, formerly known as La Cocina, serves up Latin inspired coastal cuisine for daily brunch, lunch, happy hour and dinner on 30A. We have been to this restaurant on several occasions. I am not sure what has happened over the past year...maybe a new Chef, Management, etc. However, the food quality has gone down hill. We ordered fajitas on the past two visits, hoping the last one would be better...boy were we wrong! The steak was like eating beef jerky and the chicken was like eating crispy bacon. The only thing I can say on a positive note..that is just ok, is the salsa...however, that is also hit or miss.
First time in this area and this was our first stop. We were extremely impressed with how fast our food came and the freshness and taste of their salsa. My husband had the fish tacos and they were a bit fishy tasting in my opinion but I had the ground beef tacos and they were wonderful. The beans and rice were good as well. I had a Skinny Margarita with salt and I will definitely be going back during our trip to get another!! Great place!
Fresh and delicious ingredients. We ordered to go, as they were extremely busy and everything we had was fantastic!
BEST MEXICAN FOOD I'VE EVER ATE!!! WILL GO BACK WITHOUT A DOUBT!
