Irving Elementary School is an educational institution that enrolls children in pre-kindergarten through grade five. It provides instruction in several subjects, such as reading, language arts, math, science and social studies. Located in Indianola, Iowa, the school offers classes in physical education, music, chorus, band, orchestra, arts and crafts, and media and guidance studies. It also provides special education learning sessions, speech therapy services and the Talented and Gifted program. Established in 1950s, Irving Elementary School s facilities include more than 35 classrooms, a media center and a gym. In addition, it has a parent-teacher organization that supports the campus fun activities and social events. The school is a part of the Indianola Community School District, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools.
