Wheeler Mission Ministries is a nondenominational, Christian, social services organization that provides services to the homeless and low-income people in Indiana. Founded in 1893, it has five locations and approximately 75 employees. The organization is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Wheeler Mission Ministries provides emergency shelter, clothing, and chapel and case management services. It additionally offers medical, dental and podiatric services and conducts vision screenings. The organization offers a special needs program that allows men to stay in residence for an extended period of time. Wheeler Mission Ministries operates the Hebron Center, which is a long-term residential recovery program for men and their families. In addition, it has a care center that conducts group therapy sessions for seeking recovery from addictions. The organization maintains a location in Indianapolis.
