I contracted TA Kaiser in the fall of 2009 for $945 to re-route furnace and water heater exhaust ductwork that was where I needed to put a doorway for a basement remodel. I explained in detail where the standard 80" tall doorway would go and they fully understood the clearance with the surrounding framing would be tight. I learned during a sales inspection this August that the installer had not used double wall b-vent ductwork through the entire area where the clearances were tight, and it is a fire hazard to have less than 6" of clearance. TA Kaiser would not stand behind there work and I had to pay $725 to have it fixed by another contractor. I would not use again.
