The Benjamin Franklin Literary and Medical Society publishes the Saturday Evening Post and other health education materials and programs for children, youths and the public. Founded in 1976, the Benjamin Franklin Literary & Medical Society has become a leading information source on health and medicine for the general public. The Saturday Evening Post conducts national health surveys to further current research such topics as cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, ulcerative colitis, spina bifida and bipolar disorder. It also features information relating to prevention and modern medical solutions. The Benjamin Franklin Literary and Medical Society maintains a location in Indianapolis.
