Mary Evelyn Castle Elementary School is located on a 22-acre site in Indianapolis. It serves a diverse student population of more than 500 students in grades one through five. The faculty and community work together to provide a safe environment where all children want to learn. Its curriculum students follow a plan based on the Indiana State Standards and includes subjects, such as language arts, math, science, art, music, physical education and media and library. All students have the opportunity to participate in the science fair, math pentathlon, choir, orchestra, student council, art show, musicals, talent show and grade level celebrations. The school is a part of the Lawrence Township School District.
