- Restorative DentistryDr. Nicholas Catton has been practicing in our family dental practice since 2014. He enjoys general dentistry and especially orthodontic/restorative dentistry.
- Root Canal TreatmentA root canal is a procedure specifically designed to save you from losing a tooth. Our teeth are comprised of certain parts, one of them being the pulp. A tooth’s pulp is where the nerve, blood vessels, and connective tissue are housed. When this area becomes inflamed or infected, then a root canal procedure must be taken in order to save that tooth.
- Deep CleaningAt Catton Dentistry, we work with each and every patient to establish a customized dental hygiene plan that incorporates dental exams, x-rays, thorough teeth cleanings, tooth scaling and deep cleaning (if necessary), as well as the use of other diagnostic equipment to prevent and treat conditions that affect your oral health.
- DenturesAdvances in dental technology provide dentists with a variety of procedures to enhance a patient's smile. Dentures offer patients who have experienced tooth loss a natural-looking smile that lasts. Many patients find that dentures give them greater confidence in social situations while providing a similar function to their natural teeth.
- Dental ImplantsTo find out whether or not you are a good candidate for dental implants, please call us at 317-663-8957 for more information.
- Oral Surgery
- Gum SurgeryLaser dentistry has become increasingly popular because it offers many benefits for both dentists and patients. It's an innovative technique used in dental care to provide patients with more precise, minimally invasive, and more effective treatments for cavities, gum surgery, orthodontics, and other oral issues.
- Tooth ExtractionsIf your wisdom teeth are impacted, it is recommended that you remove them. But keep in mind that failing to remove teeth that are growing in at an angle can cause them to be trapped within your jawbone, resulting in pain and a myriad of complications that may require additional treatment.
- OrthodonticsOrthodontics are an excellent way to straighten your teeth. While orthodontic treatments are used to straighten teeth for an enhanced smile, they can also help restore functionality to teeth, jaw, and bite.
- Invisalign OrthodonticsThe Invisalign system requires you to wear a series of custom-made trays fabricated from smooth, translucent material that is specially made for wear over teeth. Each set of aligners moves your teeth incrementally for a period of two weeks, and is replaced by the next set of trays in the series until the completion of your treatment in 6 to 18 months depending on your case.
- BracesMany people are dissatisfied with the appearance of their smile, sometimes because of crooked teeth or malocclusion. With advances in dental technologies, it is now possible to straighten your teeth discreetly without the use of traditional metal braces and wires.
- Teeth WhiteningTeeth whitening performed in our office is far more powerful and effective than the treatments found at your local drug or grocery store.

- General DentistryCatton Dentistry is a general dentistry practice with locations in Indianapolis and Carmel, Indiana. We are proud to be family owned and operated. Our practice began when Dr. Richard Howard established his dental practice at 4809 N. Pennsylvania Street in 1950. Dr. Mark Catton joined Dr. Howard in 1983 and has continued the practice since then. Our Carmel location was added in 2013. Dr. Mark’s sons, Nick and Sam, joined the family practice in 2014 and 2023. All three dentists currently see patients at both locations. We are a general dentistry practice that treats children and adults. We focus on preventive and conservative dentistry, and we are proud to stand behind our work. We are very fortunate to have a great team, many of whom have been with our practice for years or even decades.
