  Indiana child custody and support laws provide a wide range of possibilities depending upon the various facts and circumstances of the individual case. In most child custody cases, the first consideration of our clients is how custody will be shared between the two parents, and secondarily, how support will be provided. Indiana law places the best interests of the child as the most important factor in all child custody matters.

  Paternity testing and paternity support can have significant and long-term ramifications.  For fathers, regardless of the marital situation with the mother, paternity can result in long-lasting support obligations.  For mothers, it’s important to ensure that the father of any children be held accountable for support and other obligations.
• Spousal Support
  In a divorce, we understand that the spouse whom we represent will have important questions:  what will happen to the marital property, will alimony or spousal support be awarded (and if so, how is this determined), what will happen to our house, vehicles, and other significant assets, who will be entitled to live in the current residence, and how will custody matters be determined?  Each individual case also presents additional unique questions.

  As an Indianapolis will lawyer and probate attorney, much of my practice is devoted to helping clients protect their assets and loved ones through comprehensive estate plans, and guiding personal representatives through the administration of a loved one’s estate as part of the probate process.  In addition, my civil litigation practice is focused on business disputes, will and probate contests, and a variety of other matters.  I additionally serve as mediator in a range of commercial and family law disputes.
