Reviews
Lawrence Central was a top notch school when I graduated in 1968. With the advent of computers and more advanced business tools, along with the sciences. Quite a few more studies have been added since 1968.The high school has now doubled in size since 1968. With the addition of several wings for new types of courses and second gymnasium. In 1968, most areas were accessible to handicapped people. When I took my last tour in a wheelchair a few years ago. The access seemed a lot better! Obviously, I would still not be able to use the auditorium or gymnasium seats very well. The swimming pool(pools?) seem very accessible to handicapped people in wheelchairs or crutches. Even I could have got in the Olympic size pool and used it.The only thing I forgot to ask about was if they now had 9th - 12th grades there or just the three oldest grades. When I went, they started with all 4 grades and then went to the last 3.All in all, an excellent school for your high school age students.
