If you are looking for the best foundation for your child and searching for the right "preschool," your search ends here. Quite simply, this school is outstanding in offering a creative, academic, and positive environment for every single child. The Principal, Ms. Ranee and her entire staff is just exceptional. You won't be disappointed and your child will truly blossom to his/her potential (and beyond). Not only are the children able to experience world cultures and festivals, but are reading, doing math, and developing self confidence and public speaking skills well BEFORE kindergarten. At Kindergarten graduation, each child reads a book that they wrote in front of the parents and teachers. The amazing things is that none of the academia is forced, but the children are happy and develop their own love of learning, reading, and being a kind member of society. This school has created such a wonderful environment for my son and I'm sure will do the same for your precious one.
When my daughter was 3 and attending a preschool in Indianapolis, I was very happy with my experience there. However, when I learned about the International Montessori School in April of 2004 and went to visit, I was so overwhelmed by the organization of the school, its focus on academics through experiential learning, and the staff that I pulled my daughter out of her school and enrolled her that same day. Ms. Ranee, the school's founder, Principal and Directress was compassionate, caring, creative, and engaged in each and every child's education journey. She was simply the reason we moved over to IMS. As the school has grown, so have the classes and the variety of options available to the children. My daughter stayed at IMS for 3 1/2 years. She participated in a rich variety of cultural and academic experiences including Diwali (the Indian Celebration of Lights), Thanksgiving, Christmas, Chinese New Year, Persian New Year, and Hanukkah, as well as learning to read well at 4 years

Both of my children have attended IMS for 3 years, and I truly believe that I could not find a better quality education at another preschool in the Indianapolis area. They were both reading at a 2nd to 3rd grade level during their kindergarten year at IMS. They also learned extensively about other cultures and countries. All of the teachers provided a warm and loving learning environment.
