Frederick Douglass Elementary School is an educational facility that provides a range of learning opportunities for students in pre-kindergarten through grade six. It offers classes in art, music and physical education. The school also provides special education programs for gifted and talented students. Frederick Douglass Elementary School offers English as a Second Language, Reading First and Title I programs. In addition, it operates a parent-teacher organization and library and media center. The school has a parent advisory council and provides food services.
