Our Company... Norman J. Gallivan II began working in the auction business in 1989. His professional background to that point included twenty years working in areas of industrial manufacturing. Gallivan's career path took him from a journeyman machinist to field service and application engineer, to regional sales and marketing manager for industry-leading industrial finishing machinery manufacturers. Norman Gallivan then started Gallivan Auctioneers & Appraisers in 1991. His industrial experience and product knowledge are the foundation for achieving excellence in the field of auction marketing and appraising. Today, Gallivan Auctioneers & Appraisers is a leading industrial and real estate auction company in the Midwest. We are licensed auctioneers in several states, including Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois and Pennsylvania. We are licensed real estate brokers, accredited appraisers, and CAI certified auctioneers.
