General Info
Dr. Samuel A. Tancredi grew up in Carmel, Indiana. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana in 1998 graduating Cum Laude. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004 from Indiana University School of Dentistry graduating with distinction. While at Indiana University School of Dentistry, he received the undergraduate Glenn J. Pell Award for Oral Surgery. He completed his four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Indiana University and Methodist Hospital. Dr. Tancredi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and an Assistant Clinical Professor at Indiana University School of Dentistry and his practice interests include dental implants, dentoalveolar surgery, orthognathic surgery, and treatment of oral and maxillofacial pathology. Dr Tancredi has three children: Maureen, Anthony and Elise he resides in Carmel with his wife, Dr. Nicole Tancredi.

Dr Tancredi extracted teeth from my son during the placement of braces several years ago.It was a positive experience then, and have now brought my son back to Dr Tancredi to extract wisdom teeth. Dr Tancredi and his staff and been patient and so helpful during this process.
I would highly recommend Dr. Tancredi for this procedure. Even on my last checkup appointment, he told me to come in immediately if I have any questions or pain at all. I am glad he did this work for me!
