• Emergency Care
  Yes. You will also need your insurance to cover lab analysis, pharmaceuticals, vaccinations, screening and diagnostic imaging, and additional services incurred through other providers, including emergency care, subspecialty consultation, or hospitalization. In these cases, our labs, pharmacies, and any outside providers will bill your insurance per usual. Your insurance will handle these claims in a manner that is consistent with your individual policy.

  Managed primary care, including coordination of appropriate annual screening measures as indicated (ex. Mammography, bone density scanning, colonoscopy, etc.) through referral providers

  Prescription for current immunizations and travel vaccinations – Conventionally recommended vaccinations include those for: Measles, Mumps, & Rubella (MMR), Polio, Chicken Pox, Haemophilus (HIB), Pneumococcus, Hepatitis A & B, Diptheria, Pertussis, Rotovirus, Tetanus, Meningococcus, HPV, Shingles, and annual Influenza. Travel vaccinations are available upon request with exception of Yellow Fever, which is administered through federally controlled sites

  Dr. McDonald is board certified in family medicine and primary care sports medicine. She graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and University of Wisconsin School of Medicine prior to completing her residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte and fellowship at Cone Health in Greensboro, NC. Dr. McDonald practiced for more than 5 years in primary care with Ascension Medical Group before joining Priority Physicians. “I am excited to be a part of the Priority Physicians team and a culture that truly values patient relationships, exceptional preventative care, and a commitment to health education,” says Dr. McDonald.
