Established in 1986, Community Tissue Services is one of the largest nonprofit tissue banks in the United States. The organization is a provider of skin grafts to surgeons for severe burn patients. It offers educational presentations for community organizations, corporations and educational institutes. Community Tissue Services also serves through the recovery, processing and distribution of human tissue grafts used for transplantation. The organization has received an ISO 9001:2000 certification from the International Organization for Standardization. It serves customers in Texas, Oregon, California, Indiana and Pennsylvania. The organization is an accredited member of the American Association of Tissue Banks. It serves donor families, medical communities and recipients. Community Tissue Services maintains a location in Indianapolis.
