NO BUSINESS ETHICS! STAY CLEAR! I took two 5 x 8 area rugs in to this bunch for removal of some very faint pet stains. They charged me a BREATHTAKINGLY EXORBITANT $5 per square foot for the work. That's $200 FOR EACH RUG!!! Not only was the price ridiculous, but they didn't get the stains out successfully. As a matter of fact, after trying twice to remove the stains the rugs are now ruined and discolored. I paid $1400 for the two rugs at Pottery Barn! So, now I am out the $1400 plus the additional $400 that Classic Cleaners refuses to refund. Managements' response to my complaint was that (1) we never said we could get the stain out (2) we don't necessarily guarantee our results will be satisfactory and (3) we're keeping the entire $400 because "we did the work". Well, in fact they DID say they could get the stains out, and they said it the first time I dropped the rugs off and again when I had them try again to actually do what I paid them FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS to do. I was told twice that the results were guaranteed as well. And, finally, did you really "do the work"? I suppose this roll-the-dice attitude and lack of any sort of money-back guarantee applies to their regular dry cleaning services as well. I would NEVER trust them to clean anything of value. EVER.
