I was reading previous reviews, and found them to contain much erroneus information. One said the were left waiting for vehicle pick-up. Bucky has never offered pick-up service, but will give you the number for a towing company he trusts, and will even pay the bill for the towing until you pick up your vehicle from him. I cannot count on one hand the number of times he found a very minor problem and said "no charge" when I picked up my vehicle! He is the best, bar none, at fixing the problem, and only the problem, at the most resonable cost. If you are on a tight budget, he will work to keep parts cost down too. Although he doesn't like to do it, for reliability and warranty reasons, he has even used junkyard parts at my request to keep cost down. If you like being screwed, go somewhere else. If you want honest and competent repair work, see Buck's.

Buck's is THE best automotive repair shop in Indianapolis -- the guy is knowledgeable and, more importantly, HONEST! He won't fix a problem unless it really exists -- and he has, by far, the most reasonable repair costs around. I'm happy to travel the 20 miles distance to take my car to him -- I wouldn't take it anywhere else. Being a female car owner, it's great to know you can trust the guy not to take advantage of your "automotive ignorance."

The worst customer service I have ever received in years. Do not expected to follow-up with you as they say they will. After 3 guys in one week I was told today they did not have time to help me and that I would have to call back. I was calling them from a payphone as well. I just wanted a estimate on work to me done.

The worst over the phone customer service I have experienced in years. Do not expect this business to follow-up or call you back as they said they would. I contacted this business 3 times in one week, on my last called I was told they could not help me now and I would have to call back later.

He is a good mechanic, but terrible at finishing when he says he will be and terrible at following up on work to be done. I once had my car towed because he failed to pick up as scheduled and I ended up having to pay over $500 on tow fees and storage. Office staff can be very slow at getting back with you or following up as well.
