I have never seen coupons for Cameron's and they advertise "walk in" specials but I have tried on 3 occasions to do a "walk in" and there is never anyone available. Is that considered false advertising? You also have to be careful when asking the stylists the prices, I asked mine last time how much my color was before I agreed to the $15 power treatment and was not informed of any additional charges but when I questioned my total at checkout, she charged me additional money for "extra color". In my opinion, she knew what she was going to charge me BEFORE the wash and still continued to mislead me with the total. Had I found this out before I paid, that "additional color charge" that I was not told about would have been her tip.

i have been going to Cameron's for 6 months now and I LOVE MY HAIR and MY STYLIST some have stated that it is pricey, i disagree, you get what you pay for. these stylists are trained and skilled - do remember that you have to be vocal and tell a stylist what you want they are not mind-readers and yes they do try to sell you product, it is part of the business. You just have to say no

The stylists at this salon are friendly, courteous and familiar with current styles. While it is frequently busy, I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes and I've never felt "rushed". Prices may be a little high but they do run "specials". Although I don't work in this field, I'd like to remind everyone to PLEASE TIP YOUR STYLIST GENEROUSLY. They work hard to make you look and feel good and they're standing (usually in heels) all day. I've recommended this salon before and will happily continue to do so.

A very nice salon with some very nice stylists ... I've been a client for years, and it is true that they tend to book clients on top of one another and they mention products and a power dose each visit (pressure???, but you can say "no"). The salon is exceptionally clean and the stylists are better than at many of the less expensive salons in Indiana. I do cringe when they raise prices because I feel I'm already paying a lot. You will get great color and cut if you can schedule the time (depending on the stylist), can afford the prices, and can say "no" to buying things you don't want or need.

A great salon. Abra was my stylist...I had no knowledge of any of the stylists. She was available when I could be there. I received the best personal service and a wonderful perm! I was scheduled for my requested perm/hair cut and she was nice enough to fit in a nail treatment with a new nail polish product; Gelish. A polish that lasts up the three weeks! I had such a wonderful time. I was treated with respect and felt so comfortable. My husband actually enjoyed then visit, too! I will recommend Abra to my friends, she has a great talent to match syles with personalities. All of the employees take great pride in their creations and stay abreast of the trends by attending the most current hair shows in New York, Chicago and Phillidelphia. Kudos to a great salon! Clean and sanitary!

It was a great experience for me! I took in a pic and got that exact cut and color. A lil expensive but worth it for a great experience. They are usually busy, but thats because they're a popular salon.

I guess it depends on which stylists you go to, but I love the one I go to. Always takes her time with me and gives me her attention while she is cutting my hair. She does my color too and I always love it. Overpriced???? Get real. I'm a college student and I don't even think that. $23-25 for a hair cut is VERY reasonable. Get out of Indiana and then maybe you'll see. Most people I know pay $40 where they get their hair cut. The color is reasonable too plus they always have good coupons. I'm still shocked that people think it's overpriced. People have to make money off their business. Not everything can be $4.99. Typical cheap Indiana mindset. Cameron's is the best!! I highly recommend it.

I have never used this place for hair, but I have used their airbrush tanning service. I was able to get an appointment right away when I needed it and the girl that sprayed me was really nice and conversated with me the whole time I was there. I knew what to expect before I even went in. I have scheduled a second airbrush tan and also am going to try out their facial services!

I love Cameron.Salon! The girls always go to classess and are up on all the newest trends! Overpriced!? Over busy!? They're busy cause they're in demand. I get a free haircut and a free bottle of shampoo. Oh, and I got my neighbor to come and we both got money off! Cool!

I wish I had read the reviews by other clients before spending months and dollars atthis salon. Overpriced? I agree. I don't mind spending money on my hair if you leave feeling that you were given attention and a great color and cut. I never got both. The girl who did my hair was more concerned about her next client to spend time on my haircut after she colored it. "Hurry, lets do your hair" and then "wait for me" while I sat under dryer as she did another customer, then back to her chair to finish. "Hurry here comes my next one!" No more.

I love Camersons Salon!! I wish it was closer to me. I went to IUP and started going there to get my hair cut, I have since moved to Pittsburgh and still drive to Indiana to get my hair done. I love Megan, she's been doing my hair for years now. I don't think their overpriced at all, and I never feel pressured to buy products. Sometimes the girls do have to work on other clients while your under the dryer but thats bc they take their time and don't just rush to get you out the door. I always get complements on my hair cuts and color! loooveee camersons!

Very overbooked, typically have to wait for stylist. More pressure than other salons to buy products, especially a power rinse every time your hair is washed? ($$$$ ) If you like a relaxed atmosphere, this is not the salon for you.

my family has known the owner for quite some time now and has gone to this salon frequently since they've been open. love every haircut/color i leave with. but because of the scheduling problems and the bad timing with other customers.. i'm the only one in the family that still goes. overpriced. especially for tanning. great girls, ehh service. if you have the time to go i suggest you do because you will get a great cut, etc..

I've been there several times with the same girl and she is always in a hurry to get you in and out of there. I felt that she was always focusing on her next client. I have since moved on to a new place.

don't they at least give discount to college kids?

a little overpriced... sometimes wait long time..they need to adjust their schedules so they are not running off to do another customer while you're under the drier and then YOU have to wait for THAT customer...happens almost every time I've been there.

Love coming here...its like a mini vacation!!!!!!!!
