We just got back from staying here. Before we booked we went to there website and watched there virtual tour and knew it was an older property presented as slice of old florida.This place is in desperate need of repairs.On both the main house and carriage house both had tattered tarps nailed to the roof indicating they had been there for awhile.The ceilings were leaking and there were dark spots we assume was mold you could also see were they took a can of white spray paint and tried to cover it up poorly The lights in the gazebo shot sparks and lit on fire. The remote controls in the bedroom and in the living room never worked.The private deck overlooking the "marina" is 3'x5' and not overlooking a marina.Then road noise, loud motorcycles and cars going past you all day and night.They provided 6 towels that you are responsible for washing they provide a PAY washer and dryer.Fresh anything daily is not provided.Construction supplies stored by the laundry area were a safety hazard.A mouse and droppings were found one morning also.Mind the family had the whole compound and issues were in every room.We came here for my wifes parents 50th wedding anniversary how embarrassing when they have to put a pot on the bed too catch the water leaking from the ceiling.When we voiced are issues to the management we were told we should have called him sooner and basically you get what you pay for.Why is it my job too do anything but RELAX! All in all the place needs work. Just be aware of the issues.Just being honest so others will know what to expect.
