Highly dedicated people doing amazing things for injured and ill birds of all kinds. A must see when visiting the St petersburg/Clearwater area. The bird hospital staff are payed very little for the 10+ hour days they dedicate to care for these birds. The birds that come to SSS have a very good chance of making a full recovery (90 some %). During the spring/summer months they are inundated with baby birds and cannot spare a single day off. Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary is struggling at present to keep up with the bills for food and staff salaries, please do what you can to help these people continue this fine work
