Located in Independence, Ore., Central High School offers educational services to students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes English, math, science and social science. It also provides computer education to the students. It has various departments, including business, guidance, library and technology. It provides students various opportunities in the arts, athletics and extracurricular activities. Its athletic department offers various sport activities, such as baseball, soccer, basketball, cheerleading, football and softball. Its Distrubitve Education Clubs of America is the association for students and teachers to develop marketing, management and entrepreneurship skills. Its Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano club ongoing activities include weekly meetings and activities, cultural celebrations, leadership conferences and fundraising.
