A part of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Ohio Buckeye Chapter offers research, advocacy and educational services for individuals with multiple sclerosis. It offers information on symptoms management and legal rights, as well as conducts workshops. The organization provides peer and job counseling and employment assistance services. The Ohio Buckeye Chapter offers opportunities for swimming, exercising, rafting, sea kayaking, camping and horse riding. Additionally, it provides day care services and college scholarships, as well as conducts picnics and educational excursions. The organization also offers financial assistance for equipment purchases and home modifications. The Ohio Buckeye Chapter provides information and referral services and publishes a newsletter, booklets and periodicals.
