Salvatore's Restaurant, formerly known as Garozzo s, is an Italian restaurant that offers a variety of food items. Established in 1991, the restaurant serves seasonal vegetables soup, prime rib, Caesar salad, roast calamari and boneless chicken, grilled black tiger shrimp, cheesecakes, chicken sausages, steaks, salmon filets, and pasta and risotto dishes. It also offers smoked turkey and grilled chicken breast, beef brisket, roast potatoes with herbs, steamed broccoli, tuna salad, lasagnas and sandwiches. Salvatore's Restaurant provides catering services for various events and parties, such as birthdays, business meetings and graduation ceremonies. It offers a variety of wines and nonalcoholic beverages. The restaurant also provides take-out services. Salvatore's Restaurant is located in Independence, Mo.

Hands down this is the best Italian in KC!! Best flavor and price! Sam really knows customer service! Thx for giving us a place we love to eat and a place we love to take our friends!

I love garlic, but there was way too much garlic in my food. The caesar salad was too seasoned and the chicken spedini was overcooked, dry and too much garlic on it, which overpowered the taste of what should have been chicken with minimal seasoning. The server seemed to be out of sorts, waited for beverages too long at times. If he was overwhelmed, he should have had someone else check on his tables for him. I was not impressed with anything that night when our group was there. I don't know if I will be back.
This is OLD SCHOOL service and food. Service the way it was in the old days. The way it should be! When a shop owner was thankful and proud that you were spending your hard earned money with them. Example, we were late for a concert for my wifes b-day and I called ahead and ordered. Lovely booth for 2 saved, the salads hit the table with the calamari behind it. Then the lobster spadeni and steak were ready. Owner or manager checked on us several times, no hoovering over us, just there at the right times. Great service, wonderful food, great atmosphere! The owner and manager has a great staff! Hope you are proud of them and let them know it. Look forward to bringing our whole family back! Great food. Great wine. Great atmosphere. Great wine. Oops, did I say 'great wine' twice? This is one of the coziest and friendliest places you can find to eat in all of Kansas City. The owner and his staff made us feel like VIP's even though we are NIP's (nobody in particular). We have been going there for years and are looking forward to our next visit.

Salvatores has wonderful food and wonderful customer service
Excellent service. Nice wine selections. Great Food. Personal Service by the owner and managers. Very cozy.
