Greg H. is a real stand up guy. He's honest, forthcoming, and affordable. He does good work and doesn't take short cuts. This is a honest family business. I highly recommend this business for your car needs. Excellent work and friendly people!

The first encounter I had with Harney's was when my alternator went out and they managed to get it fixed that day and were really sweet to me when I was freaking out. That same car (it has a lot of problems) ended up leaking something and they identified the problem for me that day and said that they could fix it for a reasonable price. Harney's have been really sweet on me each time I have needed their help and they continue going above and beyond with treating me well each time I go in.

Having dealt with many many mechanics over the years, Harney's are not only the nicest folks, but also have some of the best prices per labor hour. Also, they are honest, unlike most other mechanics. They WONT tell you that the reason for your "check engine" light being on (a $10+ O2 sensor) means that your engine is blown, and you need a new engine, unlike dealership shops that will. ALL mechanic shops have high labor prices, but they also have lots of business overhead, and lots of specialized tools they have to purchase and maintain. And, they have to eat too. I have had all 3 of our vehicles in there for one reason or another, multiple times each. The prices are fair, and the turn around time is usually less than a day or two, barring a time or two that special hard to find parts had to be tracked down and ordered, and thats just to be expected. If you dont like waiting a few days to have your car repaired, go buy a new car and quit driving junk and complaining about the mechanic.

My family has been going to Harney's for over 25 years. We've never had a problem with them. They are great mechanics, honest and people you can trust. We have never felt cheated and they have always answered every question we've had.

We brought our car to Harney's to get our brakes replaced the oil changed. We dropped it off on Wednesday. They did not call us back with a quote until MONDAY. We called numerous times during the 5 days they had our car, but no one answered. When we finnally heard from them on Monday, they quoted us $550! We told them not to touch the car and we would come pick it up. When we got there the gentleman told us that they went ahead and changed the oil ($40!), and that we also had to pay $20 for taking the tires off! Well, we didn't pay the $20 and we took our car somewhere else where we paid $380 and the car was ready the next day.
