PARKER'S EXCAVATING & CONTRACTING® isn't a hobby that I just fell into and decided to do because something else didn't work out or because I needed a "hobby job" to write off some big tax dollars. This just isn't ANY job to me. This is the way I make my living, my livelihood...and it's something that I have worked at and put blood, sweat, and tears into for almost 20 years. Since I was a kid, this is what I've wanted to do. I'm not gonna lie...it's been a struggle at times, but my wife & I did it with God's help and by working together. I'm not going to promote PARKER'S EXCAVATING & CONTRACTING® as some big company with lots of employees, because it's not. I AM PARKER'S EXCAVATING & CONTRACTING®…it's just me. When I get a job that requires additional workers, I have a select group of subcontractors who I work with. I don’t have full-time employees who I try and find "busy work" for during downtimes. By not having to deal with Worker's Compensation, Health Insurance and Payroll, I am able to pass on those savings to my customers. That's also why I don't spend a lot on advertising. And let's face it, WORD OF MOUTH IS THE BEST ADVERTISEMENT, anyway. It can either make you or break you. Anyone who has worked with me over the years can vouch for my work ethic and tell you that the satisfaction of my customers is my MAIN priority. I don't take 1-hour lunches. I don't come unprepared without the materials needed for the job that day. I don't sit on my butt and play on my phone. I try my best to be on time, and if I can't be there when I say I was going to be, I keep my customers updated. Trust me; I AM MY OWN WORST CRITIC. If I'm not satisfied, then I feel the customer won't be. I try to treat my customers the way I want to be treated when I work with someone and hire them to do something for me. I've often done extra little things for the homeowners, things that aren't mentioned as part of the bid. That's part of MY customer service policy. If my customer is smiling and happy, grinning from ear-to-ear when the project is complete, I feel I did my job. In short, WHEN MY CUSTOMERS ARE HAPPY, I'M HAPPY! I'm very proud to say that attitude and work ethic has earned PARKER'S EXCAVATING & CONTRACTING® not only praise and referrals from our customers, but I also have an A+ BBB rating.

PARKER'S EXCAVATING & CONTRACTING® is located in Bedford County, PA. Just take I-99 and get off the Imler / Blue Knob Exit. Go straight through crossing William Penn Road, continuing through on Mowry's Mills Road intersection, and pass the Imler Fire Hall (approximately 2.5 miles). After the Fire Hall, go about .4 miles and turn onto South Scrubgrass Road on the right. We are approximately 2.2 miles on the right side, just off Ridge View Lane @ the Kimmel Township Line.
