Do not use this establishment for your minor electric motor repair. They do not stand behind their work. I took a small motor in for a very basic job to replace bearings in a small 2hp DC drive motor. After 10 days the motor was ready for pick up. I had to call. When I picked up the motor I was told there was nothing wrong with the bearings, what sounded like a bearing knock was most likely the rectifier on the control board. I was charged their minimum shop charge to trouble shoot and clean. No problem. I ordered a new control board and not a big surprise, it did not fix the problem. I pulled the motor apart, it was not cleaned and there was a spun bearing on the front end of the motor. The bearing came off by hand, was discolored from the heat and the shaft was crystalised from work hardening. A blind, deaf man could have found these problems. I took the motor back to request a refund of the minimum shop charge only. I was eating the $165 control board. The owner refused. Never again
