Aveyron Homes is a private, nonprofit organization that provides homes and supported living services for people who need supervision and assistance. Founded in 1975, the organization serves adults and children with mental retardation, as well as individuals with traumatic brain injuries. Aveyron Homes employs more than 130 people. The organization also offers personal care assistance and nursing services. It provides several fun opportunities and activities for children, including outing, movies and shopping. The organization offers a range of day programs. It is a member of the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota, Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce and National Alliance on Mental Illness. Aveyron Homes additionally provides after-school care services.
