The administrator and staff do a wonderful job of caring for the residents there. They are caring and understand to my mother despite her cranky disposition at times. Christie's staff members are very responsive to the residents needs. The facility feels more like a home than a hospital. The residents have meaningful activities to help them stay active. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who is faced with the task of finding a safe caring environment for their loved one.

TVAL is a God send,The owner Christie Mounts is so dedicated to her work.My family member really likes it here and she is treated very well. This is the most wonderful facilty anyone could ever put a loved one in. The staff are very caring and they treat every resident the same. It is the cleanest facility I have ever seen. The food is all home cooked. I have seen them fix several different items for breakfast - just about anything anyone could want. The living room with the big screen tv and the dining area are beautiful. My mom loves it! This place is absolutely awesome in every aspect imaginable!!!!! Laura Brown

TVAL is a Godsend for anyone looking for acaring enviroment for a loved one who can no longer live alone,TVAL has an excellent staff whom truly care about the residents,warm atsomphere.whaether its long term care or short term it is the ideal place for our loved one, I wish we would have had it 4 yrs ago ,when our mom was in need of a place like this. I highly recommend TVAL to anyone who needs this type of service. The RN Christie Mounts is exceptional,so caring and kind, she says this was her dream since becoming a nurse she saw such a need for it , I am so glad we found out about this place it has been a blessing to our family. Teays Valley Assisted Living was definitely an answer to prayer for my brother and I who were recently looking for a place to move our Mom from a nursing home where she had been sent for rehab. Teays Valley Assisted Living accepted her as resident number 6 in a home that will ultimately house a maximum of 23 residents. The owners have a heart and a passion for caring for the elderly, and we are extremely happy to be a part of the family there. Their philosophy is to allow residents to have as much quality of life as they are capable of, so they are encouraged to be out of bed and doing as much as they are able to do. The staff provides activities that they can be involved in and there is a big screen TV in the activity room that they enjoy. The grounds are beautiful, and there is a large screened in porch for those who like to be outside. If you are looking for such a facility, I encourage you to visit. You won't be disappointed.

This facility is not just your ordinary Assisted Living Facility... This facility is absolutely beautiful and the 2 owners are nurses. No more corporate people to deal with!! Although appearing large, it holds a maximum of 23 residents, all meals are home cooked and the staff is exceptional. They have numerous activities daily, a beautiful brick patio with a swing and one of the owners has planted a garden for the residents to enjoy. I'm excited to be a part of Hurricane's newest Assisted Living Facility and encourage anyone to stop by anytime and pay them a visit... I promise... You won't be disappointed!! My mom loves it here!!
