The Huron Fire Division works with a mission to protect the lives and property of residents and visitors of the c ity of Huron from fire and critical health threats. It handles more than 1,100 responses every year. The division is comprised of fire suppression, rescue, emergency medical services (EMS) and education and prevention units. The Huron Fire Division inspects commercial occupancies in the city annually. It administers education and prevention programs that include teaching for the community on prevention and reaction to fires, injuries and illnesses. The City of Huron has various departments and volunteer committees, including building, court, finance, police, street, water, and parks and recreation. The Huron Fire Division is located in Huron, Ohio.
