I want to publicly express my gratitude to Dr Williams and her wonderful crew at 11th St Vet. They were so attentive , caring and loving to my Lucy. They cried with me when we had to make the painful decision to let her go. I received texts before and after her passing, they sent beautiful flowers and a card that helps knowing and feeling their concern and prayers for my husband and I. It meant the world to me and still does...I will forever be grateful to all of you.

Dr. Beth Williams and all of her staff go above and beyond in the care they provide my pup and the pet owners! Our puppy Rudy loves coming there as did my Killian. The animals themselves should know who the best caregivers and caretakers are when I see my furry kids get excited to go see Dr. Williams! Dr. Williams always takes time with her patients and clients when they come to her clinic for care. She explains everything in detail, and she makes sure she's answered all questions without giving the slightest sign of annoyance at my questions regardless of her very busy schedule! I first met Dr. Williams when my husband and I moved to Houston area for his work. My dog of 10 years had pancreatitis. She spent hours evaluating his diet to ensure he was getting food that not only helped his pancreas but to also ensure his caloric intake was adequate for his health too. Sadly, after living with a serious pancreatic issue, he developed pulmonary hypertension and eventually his heart was affected. As painful as it was for me to even consider losing my buddy, Dr. Williams spent two or three office visits just counseling and consoling both my husband and I that we had done everything and Killian wanted for nothing medically as we'd done everything medically possible to keep him comfortable during his final years. She stood by us, with us, and grieved with us as we put sweet Killian to rest. There is no other person on this planet that I could have trusted more in those moments as we asked her to do what we thought was best for my wonderful little buddy/friend. She and her staff went above and beyond to ensure a safe and compassionate environment as she helped my Killian to gently and quietly go to sleep. She never appeared to rush us to leave afterward. She helped me during my grieving process afterward as well! I couldn't have asked for a better person or environment to be in at that time!
When we notified her recently that we'd decided to get a new puppy, she came in on Sat morning (her day off) to evaluate the pup herself knowing that the new pup came with a 72 hour limit for a vet check to "seal the deal" on our new puppy. She is truly an amazing veterinarian and person who truly LOVES what she does for a living! I drive slightly over an hour to bring my furry kids to her in Huntsville because SHE is worth the drive! (and the staff too!)

In over 30 years of owning dogs and seeing many veterinarians I find Dr. Beth Williams to be the best veterinarian we have ever seen. Our two dogs were misdiagnosed by the devious owner of 11th street clinic and after the proper diagnosis are happy healthy dogs. She cares deeply about all of the animals she treats as if they were her own. She spends time explaining and answering questions. I doubt we will ever find another veterinarian of her caliber. Huntsville is lucky to have her.

I have been using Dr. Beth Williams at 11th Street Veterinary Hospital for many years now. I recently had to make the tough decision to put one of my dogs down. It was a hard decision, but Dr. Williams and I talked it out and we both knew it was for the best. Dr. Williams handled the whole situation with a huge caring heart. She cares so much for the animals and does not want anyone of her patients suffering. Dr. Williams and her team were in the room with my daughter and me when we put our dog down. It was on overwhelming experience and each clinic employee comforted my daughter and me and one even cried along with us. Dr. Williams explained everything she was doing and the process. They all were so amazing during this traumatic experience.

On another occasion, Dr. Williams saved my Boston Terrier’s life. (More than once) She researched and worked so hard find out what was wrong with my little Boston. Dr. Williams explained the illness/disease and in its rare form, she saved my dogs life. This was over three years ago. She still treats my Boston for this disease and is so caring and loving. I can be so worried about my dog’s life and after Dr. Williams’s treatment, my dog is new again. She is amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Williams and her clinic to anyone. She is worth traveling to see if you are not in the area. Dr. Williams will always be my animals vet.

The most compassionate, most knowledgeable vet anywhere. I drive 45 minutes just to take my dog to Dr. Beth Williams. She makes you feel like your pet is the most important one of all. The whole staff is friendly and caring. Folks need to know that Dr. Williams just recently took over the clinic. In fact, it's been only a year. If anyone was unhappy with the clinic before that, go back and give Dr. Williams a try. She is worth it!

Best in town.

Don't know what the other reviews are talking about. We've used them for years. They're the best Vets in town. They practice the best medicine but will work with you on price if you need to. Lot of people drive past other clinics to go there.

I only have been to this vet when I'm low on cash. This place is quick to criticize your ownership skills. When you're a bad pet owner you don't care to bring them to the vet...duh!! I brought my female dog Sam here to get spayed and after we got home she whimpered in pain. They gave no pain meds and said she'll be fine. If

I had a hysterectomy...I'd want pain meds!! Unless you absolutely can't afford another vet, don't come here.

I've been using this vet since...

I've been using this vet since they've opened. They are attentive to my needs, honest and have the best prices anywhere. Friends of mine drive from Houston, Pearland and the Woodlands to continue to their pets seen here in Huntsville. The staff is knowledgeable and awesome!

I'm going into this starting o...

I'm going into this starting out by saying that I understand that most people who give a single star are over-exaggerating, but I seriously don't know of a worse experience based on the veterinarian (the assistants are very nice people)!

Our first visit, my husband and I took a puppy that I adopted from the SPCA was and she had her first check up by this veterinarian. When I tried to comfort my dog while she was receiving shots, the vet said that I would have a bad dog because of my actions!

This next reason was the last straw, however. My cat was diagnosed with feline fatty liver syndrome because she was not eating due to an infection. After having her hospitalized for two days AND going over the price limit agreed on by me and my husband, my cat did not show much improvement except for a decrease in dehydration. I decided to do home care because I could not afford to keep her hospitalized. The veterinarian told me that I would need to put her on a feeding tube and give her subcut fluids for three weeks for a whopping $720 bucks (not including hospitalization costs) before she would get well.

She would not prescribe me a bag of subcut fluids at another vet hospital (who charged only $30 for a three-week bag) when I asked because her "license was on the line." I have experience with the needle procedures on a dog that had parvo and lived, so there was no reason that she could not do this for me except that she would not get money out of it. On top of that, she attempted to weigh my cat when the talk got heated (I told her that my cat would likely die if I couldn't give her fluids subcutaneously) to show how my home treatment was not working!!!!! HOW UNBELIEVABLE!

Needless to say, my dear kitty is doing wonderfully and is going to make a full recovery since I have been force-feeding her kitten formula. Do not give up on your kitty if he or she has the same thing! Your cat can pull through!! If you want a vet who got into the profession for the animal's well-being, do NOT choose this clinic!
