During the summer of 1955, a young entrepreneur and former band director from Mississippi by the name Berlin Jackson Robbins opened a small music shop off the town square of the growing city of Huntsville, Alabama. This small shop would hail to be Huntsville's first music store! Specializing in the sale of school band instruments, record albums, and quality service, Robbins Music Center would grow to become a favorite among amateur and professional musicians alike. Today "Robbins," as we are commonly called by locals, has grown to offer a full line of musical supplies ranging from the most basic musical instruments to the most advanced PA and recording equipment. Our sales staff continues to be one of the best in the business, as most have had over thirty years experience in the music profession.
