Founded in 1995, Optical Sciences Corporation (OSC) manufactures custom sensor test equipment. The company provides technical and engineering support services to the U.S. Army, NASA and private aerospace/defense corporations. Based in Huntsville, Ala., it provides key test support for the various propulsion programs of NASA, such as Space Shuttle Main Engine (SSME), Linear Aerospike Engine, FASTRAC Engine and Integrated Powerhead Demonstrator. In addition, Optical Sciences Corporation has provided NASA with support for numerous high pressure and low pressure pump as well as combustion chamber vibration anomaly investigations.
