Since then she has been practicing small animal medicine in Nashville, Tennessee, but recently moved back to her home state to be closer to family. Her interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and dermatology, though she enjoys learning about everything. She has two cats (Kingsley & Pascal) and two dogs (Zelda & Oliver). When she’s not at work, Dr. Merritt enjoys reading, writing, and hiking.
